We are looking for someone to care for our two children after school starting in February, as our au pair is leaving. We live near Falls Church close by Williamsburg Blvd and have a 9 yr old daughter and 7 yr old son who are a lot of fun and super sweet! Hours would primarily be 3:30 -5:30/ 6:00 p.m. on school days but we would love it if you could cover early release days, random teacher planning days, and an occasional early morning.
The main responsibility would include meeting the bus to walk kids home, then help with homework. Twice a week they would need to be picked up from school (a mile away) because of after school enrichment.
We are open to a permanent or temporary solution as I have been looking for an au pair and haven’t yet found the right person! We have a modest bedroom and living area in our basement and could do live in or out depending on individuals needs. We could also provide more hours for someone who could do some light cleaning, cooking and run errands.
If you are interested, please call or text Christine at (808) 782 -6557 or christineroe2@icloud.com.
